Dr. Monira Uddin is a very humble and respectable dentist, who is very passionate about her profession. Dr. Uddin moved to Georgia from Queens, N.Y.  She received her Bachelors degree from Fordham University and then went on to receive her D.D.S. with an oral diagnostic science minor from S.U.N.Y Buffalo in 2003. She completed a one year general practice residency from New York Hospital of Queens where she had extensive training in all phases of general dentistry including:

• Supervised clinical experience in recognizing and evaluating clinical manifestations of systemic disease and its relation to dental treatment.
• Participation in consulting service as well as on call emergency care to patients.
• Skilled dental care for patients.
• Opportunities to explore clinical research interests.

Giving back to her community volunteering is something she holds close to her heart. While a student she volunteered at the Children’s Hospital working under Pediatric Dentists. Dr. Uddin offered volunteer services for low-income children several days out of the year. She also does mission work in Bangladesh. Dr. Uddin regularly attends community health fairs and educates children and adults about the importance of maintaining oral health.

Dr. Uddin is the mother of two beautiful children and cherishes this role.  She loves the South for its hospitality, good cooking, and warm weather.  She looks forward to meeting you and treating you with the kindness and respect that you deserve!
